1 City have a poor record against tomorrow's visitors

Manchester City, 49 points ahead of Queens Park Rangers, would normally expect to win such a fixture at the Etihad Stadium comfortably. However, they have won only two of their past nine matches at home to QPR, all at Maine Road, having never yet hosted them at the Etihad. City have failed to win any of the past three encounters between the two sides in Manchester, losing 3-1 in the most recent fixture in March 2000 in what was then Division One. Chris Kiwomya, Gerard Wiekens (with an own-goal) and Mikkel Beck scored for QPR that day

This makes me a bit happier about our game tomorrow at least

I was at that game. Wednesday night. Only a few hundred up there on the temporary seats in the corner in the **** pouring rain.

We were kept in the ground for ages after the game. We had all sorts pelted on us as we came out the ground. Beck scored an early penalty. I thought Wardley scored for us that day and Beck got 2.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
