....and not rest on their laurels as they've done in the past.Having secured their Prem place for the following season for past 3 years,Stoke have lost on the final day in all three of their previous PL campaigns, conceding 9 goals in the process.
i can't see bolton winning this one. they've been awful.
they are playing for their jobs and their survival in a one game cup final against a team that have nothing to play for and have lost their last game of the season for past 3 seasons. If it was us playing Stoke tomorrow i would have confidence of getting the 3 points and staying up and we are no better than Bolton when playing away from home.

I completely agree,in fact Bolton with 6 away wins already, have twice as many as us.

And the last time they played in a "one off cup final type of game" was last years cup semi final when they got gubbed 5 nil
we're playing for our lives too.
as fans we've written the game off - but have we done it to sugar coat the pill and blame stoke/bolton if we go down?
why on earth are we going into this game claiming we are down? the players are. the manager isn't. the backroom staff aren't. why can we not get a point at city? and even if we lose, why on earth can't stoke draw with bolton at home?
The irony is of course is the Clint Hill "goal" against Bolton, which was disallowed by Pollock the Pillock. With a point from what should have been a 2-2 draw we would be safe already and not in this position.

Agree Bolton have had must win game after must win game and not coped with the pressure hence why they remain in the bottom three having blown two games in hand.
Stoke is not an easy place to go at any time, its hard enough turning up needing a point but having to win!! well we will see
I thought they would draw their last three, well they lost to Spurs who had not won away in 2012 (that includes Stevenage in FA Cup), threw away a two nil lead with 15mins left against West Brom and cant see them winning tomorrow.
I think the 15mins between us turning round a two nil defeat at home to Liverpool and Bolton throwing away two points in the same time at home to WBA could be the deciding factor and key come 5pm tomorrow; its ironic

???
we havent won away in nearly 6 months while City have the best home record in the league. Last time we went away to a top six side in a must win match we got gubbed 6 - 1 and were awful...and Chelsea are nowhere near as good as City. Just write this one off..our hope lies in Stoke and Pulis sending his mate Coyle down...
