  • Clint and HH to leave ...

    ...according to Sky

If true I'm surprised this has been done before we know which league we will be in next season.
I'm especially surprised - and disappointed - about Clint as he has been a rock in the centre of defence and a good organizer too.
The only thing I can think is that he has a long term injury (NW mentioned it last season) that he can no longer play through.
Finally, if true, and in case by any miracle HH and Clint read this, I'd like to say thanks to both of them for their 100% efforts for QPR - they set a great example, for playing major roles in last season's magnificent success and for proving so many people wrong this season.
Good luck whatever you do in the future - and be assured you'll always get a very warm welcome when you turn up at Loftus Road.

      'May be allowed to leave'
So that means they probably won't even get a game anyway, so it's up to them if they want to stay.
Both really useful players, would be very disapointing to see them go

shame if clint doesn't get a new contract... he's been a model professional, given the proverbial 110% in spite of (allegedly) being told by hughes that he wouldn't be getting his contract renewed a few months' back. attitude-wise, there's plenty of young (and not that young) players that could learn so much from him. plus he'd be excellent and cheap cover for injuries...

If we go down I would like both players to stay and help us back up again

If we stay up I'd like to have Clint Hill starting.

if we stay up i hope that they would be squad players at best. both had great seasons for us but really in the long term they have no place in the team. HH does not seem fit enough. we need a young stronger big bully of a full back to play with anton. if we stay up we it should all be about building for the future

If we stay up it probably makes sense. Kind of surprised Derry isn't included though.

i was thinking about Derry too, because when Faurlin comes back next season i think Derry will be 4th or 5th choice behind Diakite,Barton, Faurlin and if and when we buy one more midfielder it would be hard for him to get in the team.

I wouldn't mind if Hill stays one more season, but we still need at least one quality cb to partner Anton. What comes HH, i prefer younger option who stays fit and provide some competition up front.because there are simply no competition at all at the moment, only Bobby and Cisse. DJ don't stay fit and Bothroyd is Bothroyd,so couple of strikers needed also

Will be gutted to see Heidar and Hill leave. Regardless of age both are quality players and should stay!
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

With CH and HH is think it will be a case of we will only offer them say a 1 year contract and a place in the squad, but if they can go and find a club that is willing to give them a longer deal we wont stand in there way.

In this case we are showing them respect and repaying them for this year performance as we are allowing them to leave on a free, negotiate a bigger and longer contract with coaching oppertunites which will extend their careers within the football and management.

I would imagine both are money wise set up for life so its down to them how they want to move forward.

CH man of the season, love him to stay but think he will go as he will want to play regualr and at the sound of it move in to management.
One for all.... and all for one

The whole squad will be revamped under Hughes whatever division we're in. Don't expect to see Kenny, Hill, Derry or HH playing for us next season.
