  • Anyone else think Crouch missed on purpose?

Not sure if this has been posted or mentioned but having watched it over a number of times I'm fairly sure Crouch knew what he was doing with those two chances late on, especially the volley.

You can't tell me he connected with that ball as best he could, so hooked it gently wide whilst appearing to have a go.

What makes me say it is that on both occasions as he turns to jog away he shoots nervous looks over to the bench to see if there was any reaction.

Just a gut feeling and god bless him, especially if he nails a winner on Sunday.
Fags n weed, glue n speed, but I draws the line at crack !

He.... erm...... was just trying the erm.... "Float Shot"..... Yeah..... "Float Shot".

A bit like the "Slow Ball Bouncer" in cricket or something. It can be devastating as it deceives the keeper.

        Honest.

        Crouchie for the Euro's

i prefered his marking job on anton for a last minute set piece, standing 6ft away then DUCKING under the ball so it gets through to cisse

          ooops!

He had a bit of a back spasm apparently.

Wanted to stay fit for the Bolton game.

            Honest issue

aw poor guy, i wrongly assumed he had got himself woefully out of position then against all natural reactions for a 7' 8 striker deliberately bent down to avoid defending the flick on..

i feel a bit foolish and i only hope he recovers in time for sunday, the poor chap

seriously though, watch it again from the sth africa rd view...

this has probably been brought up on here before, but is Peter Crouch a QPR fan or a Chel****? I heard a commentator the other day say he was a QPR fan..but I always thought he was a Chel**** boy. He was also watching a game at Loftus Road earlier this season, not sure why

Crouch is a Chelsea fan. Read his book and you will see.
