Hadn't seen him post on any here either Dave. Could you please now compile a list of all the games that you have attended in case you get questioned about it at some point.

Shame he doesn't acknowledge the fact that MYU links all of Clive's and the guest writer's articles on here, as they are nearly always excellent, so that the members of this site get easy access to and reminders of them. Still, wouldn't be good if we were all bitter and harboured petty jealous thoughts.

I think we have all been affected by the goggles at some point!

My mate pulled a bird from St Helens who took him home. After doing the business she said, you best go now incase my husband comes back from fishing early!!.....Followed by be quiet on your way out as the kids might wake up!........Classy!

Sorry chaps, all my fault for querying the relevance of his post. I think I've posted on about two roll call threads all season and only because I was letting fellow travelers know some plans for the respective trips! Does that mean I've only been to two away games this season Christs sake don't tell the wife because she will want to know where I've been every other week for the last 9 months
To the original point, some people like to say look at me I'm going on a journey, I'm a super fan or more often, giving a heads up to mates taking the trip with them. I treat following Rangers as something I've always done, no matter where they are playing and at what level and don't generally need to share my impending journey with the masses.
Takes all sorts of course but I'm glad I'm not the only one who read the post as a gratuitous dig at MYU for no reason

no offence swiss - but i really don't care who wins the PL.
I want us to stay up.
You make some good footballing points and if this game was mid-season i'd give all this city/utd a bit more time - but right now - it's about QPR staying up.

                  that is all, sorry pal.

I hope us and City both have a great weekend
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

hiya lads another city fan here with a lot in common. Been to your place many times and very aware that you came down to the old second div with us. When we got back to the porem i used to look out for your results always remembering you suffered the same dramatic fall as us!
best of luck on sunday but personally can t see bolton getting anything off stoke so it should be a great day!
i ve read swiss's post and can agree with his directions etc

couple of other good pubs for the connissour (?)
                        1) sams chop house
                        2)the marble arch
good food in both and no probs

you can t go wrong in the city centre the only shitty part is probably around oldham street and close to the train station but thats the same in any city (euston??)

to the poster asking about warrington....the best part is a small town just outside called Stockton heath (£5 in a taxi from warrington) about 10 restaurants there and 4 or 5 pubs/bars-very nice
warrington itself is a 1 horse town with the usual yates's weatherspoons etec etc

good luck sunday, i fancy 3-0 city 3-1 stoke...everyone happy!

What I'd be more happy with is this:

City 0-1 QPR... Stoke 3-1 Bolton... Sunderland 2-1 Utd
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
