Play normally, they'll expect us to defend all game so they will go out all attacking; perfect opportunity for counter-attacks where Taiwo, Traore, Diakite, or any of them can go and create something.

    ------------Kenny----------
    Onuoha-Ferdinand-Hill-Taiwo
    Mackie--Barton-Diakite-Traore
    -------------Taarabt--------
    -----------Cisse------------

Park the bus? If we sit back and try to defend for 90mins against a team going for the title we will get done 10-0

If we play one up front it has to be Zamora. Cisse granted is a superb finisher and useful when he has the ball at his feet. He is not going to win headers or hustle and battle Lescott and Kompany to try and bring it down from a 50 yard Anton hoof. Which means we will give the ball straight back to Man City.

A lot of the time will be spent whacking it clear out of our penalty area like we did against Arsenal. Zamora will hustle and batter Lescott and Company all day for the cause. He will win it and hold it up much better than Cisse. When we do get the ball we need to keep it.

The best form of defence is attack and we did well earlier in the season by getting at them.

The OPs team is what I would start with.

We should go at them. As said the best form of defence is often attack as they aren't going to score if the balls up their end of the pitch.

We need discipline and pace to get back and defend if hit on the counter though, so owuld definitely play Traore. I can also see SWP coming into the game at some point for this purpose also because for all his faults this season, nobody can fault his workrate, plus he can break with pace ala Sunday when he won the corner that ultimately got us 3 points.

If we try to sit back it will be suicidal becasue every clearance will come back within seconds and sooner or later you have to expect they will score and then we are praying on events elsewhere.

The longer we keep them at bay the better as they will get nervous and the fans will get edgy, especially if Man Utd can take an early lead at Sunderland.

Plus if we're up the other end of the pitch with the ball, rather than chasing lost causes, we have players that can win corners or FK's in or around the box, a well as throw ins up their end. Then who knows, we could nick a goal and make it very interesting. Let's not forget, Bothroyd scored against them and bossed them a bit, and if the 2nd hadn't hit HH on the back he'd have had 2.

We must get in their face and try to upset them, unsettle them and let them know we're not just going to wave a white flag and then hand them the trophy.
