Anyone else worried there might be another twist in this relegation battle?
It's a strange scenario as I've been trying to work out the bookies take on it.
Will Hill for outright relegation have us at 2/1 and Bolton 4/11 but our odds for getting a draw (11/2) or win at City (14/1).
Bolton to draw 12/5 and to win 6/4
So even though the bookies are saying Bolton are more likely to draw and win than us and we are more likely to lose, they are still saying we are more likely to stay up, my only conclusion is that the bookies are going for a Bolton draw and QPR lose.
That doesn't fill me with great confidence as a 94th minute header from Davies is all it takes.
To calm my fears I went on the Stoke websites last night and a lot of them hate us because they think we'll compete for their signings next season and Bolton are more likely to end next season lower than them, so therefore see us being more of a threat.
What did however give me hope was the unexpected posts that a few fans are beginning to have concerns about Pullis which I never expected. I think Pullis will want the win to give Stoke more respectability in the table and calm any end of season fears of a slide. Sometimes we forget even managers that at one time can do no wrong (wenger, that tanned bloke at Hull, ancellotti and even our own NW) have to keep grafting for wins to survive otherwise their jobs become threatened. Pulls will not want to lose on Sunday IMHO and that's the reason I think the great escape is on for us.
there will be twists until the final minutes I think.
However - Stoke fans forums have nowt to do with how they will approach the game. They will try to win their last home game in front of their fans who have supported them well.
The only concern I have is that Bolton have a huge amount to fight for and they know we are extremeley unlikely to get a win at Etihad.

Like they did the last game of last season v Wigan...
I would settle for both us and Bolton to be 4-0 down after half an hour, (does that happen in the premier league?), in order that we can all relax for the final hour. Could do without any more twists and turns for a couple of years.
