  • So Come On

How do we go about next week....

1 - Do we literally park the bus.
2 - Does Cisse stay on the bench as surely we aren't going for the win.
3 - Do we take it to City, as they won't be expecting it.

    What's everyone's thoughts.

Its such a tough call, because with all the quality City have, can you really soak up 90 minutes of pressure...This game is HUGE for them as well as we all know...

Well if we park the bus I can't see us containing Man City for 90 mins and keeping a clean sheet! lol :-D

The best form of Defence is a good offence, I think we need to crowd the midfield and keep our cool and just hope we can get a lucky break.

Its football, anything can happen, didn't Swansea go there and beat them?

Do you get Mackie and even Wright Phillips in the mix, literally chasing down every ball, getting at then.

Think Sunderland are the only team to take a point, they've won every other game I think....

The same attitude we've had at home will bode well!

Play a balanced 4-4-2 and see wtf we can do as a football team. calm, collective, no pressure, knowing that nothing is expected. we did what we had to and now against city chasing the prem trophy, we should play relaxed, yet with razor like focus. simple passes, defence stays deep, midfield holds and passes (lots of space) and strikers believe in themselves and actually shoot from distance, or take on city's defenders. we might get a draw who knows.

I think we'll play 4-5-1 and try to contain them in midfield.

I would start with this line-up

                  Kenny

                  Onuaha Ferdinand Hill Taiwo

                  Mackie Barton Derry Diakite Traore

                  Zamora

Our best chance will be from a penalty or a free kick from the right where Taiwo can blast one in.

Man City have a habit of 'bottling it' in big games, so who knows what will happen. IMO I think we'll survive as Bolton will draw or Wigan may actually lose their last two games.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
