agree hes hard working but can also be hard work to watch...awful winger in truth just ask zamora how many crosses from mackie hes been on the end of?but its unfair to say hes crap as he should be judged through the middle (where he plays for scotland) and fair play for trying when out wide but not good enough to play every week as a wideman.

I think he'd be better as a striker, like last season where he managed to get quite a few goals before getting injured. Even this season, most of his goals have come from him being in a more central area rather than out wide. He was poor sunday and not effective as is the case in many games this season. Ability wise at this level he falls short so when teams like Stoke match his effort and desire his main asset is gone and he looks lost. Surely everyone can see that?
Away from home he is poor. Needs to hold onto the ball much better. Often loses it with silly runs into people and we struggle to get it back.
Credit where it is due though, at Loftus Road against teams who have the ball a lot (Spurs/Arsenal,Swansea) his effort and desire is rewarded as he gives players no time. He scored a vital winner over Liverpool and showed a great bit of Vision to pick out Samba against Arsenal.
If we do stay up and we look to push on next year i can assure you mr Mackie will be nowhere near our starting 11. Will probably join the Warnock revolution.Comment

Yep, most of our players have been really s..t!...if Mackie is what we need to stay up then God help us...I for one don't get excited by his braindead runs and chasing back. Can't wait for him to be dropped/sold.Originally posted by SuperHoopNik View PostComment
