Could make alot worse signings. Not "glamorous" names, but they certainly do their jobs well. Huth had Mackie in his sky rocket all game. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The way we set up today made it difficult for him.. often isolated against their brick sh.ithouse of a defence.
Not his best game, but his cross to pick out Barton was top drawer.
Agree he looks tired and think we can't underestimate the effect a good pre-season could have on him.
Will be a big player for us in the future anyhow.

Maybe next season it will change with new personnel and enough games to play a little more expansieve, as to me it is the right tactics for this current squad and the current situation we find ourselves in (15 points from 15).One for all.... and all for one

Either way, excellent win. Let's hope we can take a point from Citeh. COYR'S!QPR fan since1987

I thought he looked knackered especially in the 2nd half, worked hard in my opinion. A lot of his work goes unnoticed. Tough job upfront alone against a physical Stoke side. Also when he got the ball, at times we didn't offer much width. Though it seemed nobody favoured Mackie in the second half as Huth was eating him for dinner, LOL

Zamora was being marked by 3 central defenders yesterday!
Thought he occupied all of them and allowed space for players like Tarabat to do their stuff.
Very pleased with his signing. Has great feet and a great touch.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
