  • Boost ahead of tomorrow as Samba shakes off virus...

Samba Diakite is struggling to be fit for QPR’s crucial match against Stoke.

The midfielder, who missed the 6-1 drubbing at Chelsea, has been laid low by a virus and has not been able to return to full training this week.

if he's doing light training today and with 2 days to go he'll start, don't worry, even if he only plays 65mins, he'll be there
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I hope he starts and plays most of the match because without him starting, we could concede very early and it could get worse! With Diakite we have someone who helps out the defence and also the attackers, his strength on the ball could be vital against their defense

He could be half fit and still have more energy, pace and drive then the others in CM.

Would be gutted if he didnt play as i really feel he makes the whole team unit tick.

No need to panic, if he's in light training he should be good to at least start on Sunday.

If he can give us 60 that will still be good.

agree if we can get 45 min at half pace will be quicker than Derry & Buzz put together

Well I don't mind if he plays for 45-60 mins, just as long as we're winning by a goal or two by then.

We missed him so bad on Sunday, our biggest game & one of our best players out is a real blow!
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Christ I hope not! He is our midfield, without him we're a different team.

IMO I think this piece of news is part of the plan as Stoke won't be expecting him.
