  • Would you settle for this now?

    We beat Stoke
    Bolton draw with WBA
We lose to Man City (inevitably)
Bolton need to win away at Stoke to stay up and send us down?

Seems as likely a scenario as any to me. We were always going to have to rely on other results but wd probably make us narrow favourites to survive. Thoughts?

think thats where its heading as i expect Bolton to draw/win with WBA.

No, I couldn't take another week of not knowing, rather Bolton lose, Blackburn lose Or draw and we win.
Getting to the case where I could be chewing my elbows otherwise.

Id rather everyone in the relegation battle including us lost this Sunday then we go into the final game and all the matches are 0-0 in the 90min and SWP breaks free to go one on one with Hart................

Imagine if he scored it. City Fans would never forgive him.

I fancy West Brom to beat Bolton, Bolton have now lost 11 or 12 at home and West Brom are good away so come on you Baggies

But they have been playing with their feet up wearing a straw hat and snoozing in the sun - bit like the old boy who manages them...

Last away game won at Liverpool 1-0 and Drew with Villa on Saturday at home - local derby always a tough game to call except are derby games

I think that whatever we achieve on Sunday will be matched by Bolton. Likewise on the final day. And we'll be safe.

I said Bolton will take 4 points from their last 3 games and I still think that I'm afraid.

Managerless, holiday mode WBA at home on Sunday is a god send for them.

I think we can forget it if we don't beat Stoke, so I would take that yes.

City beating United means they will beat us whether we are fighting for survival or not.

We are relying on other results in that case. There will be twists ion the day, but not onfluenced by us I am afriad. I hope to be proven wrong.

I can only see Blackburn getting two draws at best so its down to us Wigan and Bolton.

WBA will win both their last games as they want to finish well for Hodgeson and finish above Liverpool. Hodgeson won't ease off he's not that type of guy.

If we beat Stoke I believe we'll survive as Bolton, even if they win at Stoke will loose out on goal difference unless of course we lose by 10! I can see another 6 nil drubbing as Citeh win the league buy not 10!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
