Baggies deny Beckford offer
Albion have denied making a £2m bid for Jermaine Beckford after reports in Yorkshire claimed they had moved for the Leeds striker.
The Baggies have not made an offer for the tall 25-year-old, although they are known to have made inquiries about him in recent weeks.
It remains to be seen whether they step up any interest, but Leeds are highly reluctant to sell Beckford having just lost Fabian Delph to Villa.
