And sorry but we're talking about away support here (you know, people that travel and follow their team) so what has the **** game got anything to do with it.
I mentioned the OPR visit to Sunderland , which was an away game for Rangers , don't you agree ? Or do you just want to cherry pick examples ?

And I'm not a Fulham fan . I'm not a Rangers fan either , but this isn't the point .

The truth is that Fulham had pretty decent away support when they first joined the Premiership , but now a few years later , the novelty of the division having worn off and the fairweather fans having found something better to do with their spare time , their away following's numbers have suffered , no question - it now comprises their hardcore fanbase - but please don't kid yourself the same wouldn't happen if Rangers stayed the division a few seasons longer. And even so , Fulham have still this season taken pretty similar numbers away as Rangers to quite a few games : Norwich , Sunderland , Villa are just three .

Dont need to kid ourselves, we took more away than you (foolham) in league 1. its got fark all to do with novelty, and more to do with being real supporters.

Touch a raw nerve did I ? All I was saying was the truth . Find it uncomfortable do you ?

And again , I'm not a Fulham fan. I do go to both ,Fulham and Rangers , though, on occasions - I'm a fan more of the game than any one team . Also , you might find it interesting to learn that the only real difference I find between Rangers and Fulham fans is that the former tend to have bigger mouths.

You mention Sunderland away as a random example but the figure you quote is laughable. There were more than that many in the clubs of Sunderland and South Shields on the night before the game - there were around 2,000 of us at the Stadium of Light so your argument is seriously flawed.

Ha ha absolute corker. I can imagine you coming out with superb excuses to get out of PE when you come out with excuses like that.

Fans support their team whether they have been in the league 1 season or 20.

You get 25000 at home yet struggle to take 500 away. That tells me that a huge percentage of 'your home support' are in fact just football fans wanting to see premier league football and the chance to #### over Rooney and Gerrard once a year.

I know a couple of Fulham fans and they've been going home and away for years since they were in the old Div 2, really good lads to be fair.

Anyway, they're happy to admit they've generally always had a pretty small away following and that after their promotion to the Prem they got more and more younger fans, 14-25ish, going away each week. As they tell me these fans didn't really have a love for the club and don't have a history of the club (many saying they were making their first trip to LR as an away team a few weeks ago for example). They just liked the image that went along with going away and being involved in the Prem. The novelty of this has well and truly dried up though.

This lasted for a few years but now the numbers have dried up again because they have lost interest and have realised Fulham will forever sit in mid-table or below. They will still go to the likes of Chelsea, Spurs etc, but rarely at any games beyond the M25.

For me, this sums up most of these new Fulham fans. They havent come out of the woodwork, they just got bored not doing anything on Saturdays and went along to support a Prem team where tickets were ridiculously easy to get. Now only the hardocre Fulham fans go away from home, which is why their numbers are so low on the road.

Fair enough,Fulham fans can criticise our team, as we are s**t, but they can never critiscise the support, loyalty and commitment a huge amount have shown for the club not just this year, but for the past 20/30 years etc. We might go down this season, but if we do you can gaurauntee we would be back in however many years with the same numbers and the same faces.

Is this bloke serious?? Mate, ask any respectable football fan and they will tell you that QPR have one of the best away numbers in England especially for a club our size we have a ground capacity of just over 18000 so 15k home fans and we manage to sell out most away games, no matter what league we are in! 2nd last year to Leeds on away support, we are always in the top 5 in the lower leagues and would say we are top 10 in the premiership! Where are fulham??? Having a basement battle with Wigan?? Worst support!! Embarrassing!!
I cant help FAURLIN in the love with you.....

I'd love to see the stats that back that up - 'cos, and I don't mean to be rude, I think you're a bit deluded buddy.

If I'm wrong then I apologise.

Although this flamacue bloke does talk a load of sh1t, he does make one or two good points, but no more. It is true that we get more away supporters because we are fighting for our lives in this division. Fulham however are playing for nothing, and it is understandable for not many fans to take a day off work to go up to that scouse sh1thole. Plus i agree with him about cherry picking examples, lets face it our away support against sunderland wasnt great.

Other than those two things i hope this "neutral" ****** gets off our forum. Why the f*ck is he on here in the first place?
