Good article! He's right, we do need some 'core' players that actually feel connected with the club and fans and actually understand how we feel. We do have a few :Kenny, Hill, Derry, Mackie, Campbell, Smith, Faurlin, HH, Buz
If you haven't realised, this is most of our Championship winning team, and whenever most of them have been playing THIS season we've often got at least a point from those games like Everton away, Wolves away, Stoke away, Wigan home...

We need people that are passionate about the club and will give it their all...and if their on high wages, not playing and don't even care about it! (Bothroyd)... then there's no motivation or anything!
If we go down, we should keep all/or most of these core players, and build on it with players that will give it 100%
