Had to go up to Barnsley straight after yesterdays game, only thing that made me laugh all day when the **** started singing were going to Germany, your'e going to barnsley !
in all honesty even if we had played as well as we could possibly play, we would have got beaten by 3 goals yesterday, Chelsea buoyed by that opening 40 sec goal played like a side brimming with confidence and could easily have got more had they wanted to.
I really don't think it was as bad as Fulham, I think Chelsea would have beaten most sides convincingly playing like they did.
Lets not forget they beat Spurs 5-1 a few weeks back or that United lost 6-1 at home to City and Arsenal lost by 8 at United. These sort of results can happen and whilst it has given Bolton the upper hand, if Spurs can beat them on Weds then its game on again.
We still have a 5 goal lead on Bolton and we shall just have to hope Spurs can get a win up there on Weds, if they do then suddenly the players will get an almighty lift, just as we fans will, I don't even want to consider the other outcome. Hopefully the chance of catching Arsenal is a big enough incentive for Spurs.
