  • Believe in the R's

Right, lets be honest, we got bladdered today. we got bladdered by a team I would sell my soul to not have this happen. However, I have been watching the R's since 65 and have seen us do this to many a team so we have to take it and move on. If you think watching us is tough talk to a Macclesfield, Rochdale, or Cobblers fan. They have nothing but misery but still keep going. I will always respect these guys more than all the big time charlies who suddenly have forgotten Blackburn Rovers and Shearer. Be very proud of what wev'e got, It's not that long ago that me and Charlie Greengrass were in attendance watching us lose to Vauxhall Motors, if you offered me the swop then for today I would have taken it.Whether we go down or stay up we are very lucky, we have great owners and believe me in the worst case scenario we will **** the champiomship next year. We are lucky that we are back and competing after years of being skint and the future is bright. Looking forward to seeing all my muckers next week, wev'e still got a sqeaque.
    Whatever the Season.

Like the post Popsydad and agree this is what supporting QPR is all about "the ups and the downs" and with the current owners in charge i hope never to see the buckets out again but only for charity collections.

But i think next year it is not going to be so easy i am afraid most of the teams we struggled against this year play the same way but better than most of the teams in the Championship, closing down, in year faces and quick on the break, and our players i doubt will be up for it as we will be everyones cup final.

Need to get a few more players with leadership qualities and fight.... as it is tough down there
One for all.... and all for one

              Like where you're coming from.

However, we are what we are and at the moment we have bought and pay for Premiership players. That performance was disastrous, regardless of who we played (Chelsea) and where we have been (Vauxhall Motors/Wrexham etc).

We should never forget where we came from, spot on, but do you not aspire to more than some of the lower league sides you mentioned? Remember, football is about levels and we are spending prem money, shrewsbury aren't.

Make no mistake, I'm not being cocky here. I know the championship is hard. but if you mix up some of what we've got with the right signings and it's more than doable. My point is more about the long term vision for the club. It's the first time I have heard and witnessed this kind of committment since the days of Alec Stock. Even when I watched the best team in the country 74/77 there was little thinking about the future, that's what gives me confidence. Anyway, like I said, we're not down yet.
                Whatever the season.

Agreed Popsysdad they have a vision and that can be seen by getting Mike Rigg. Were not down yet and we have seen we can beat anyone just need 2 hugh efforts as we still need to get 4 oints from somewhere.

I believe, even if we do go down.

No change there, 43 years and counting.

                    Althought, today was embarrassing.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Rich mate, with all due respect I think you're missing my point. I'm talking about the fans of those clubs an their comittment. They can only dream of the financial support we are receiving now but they are still there week in week out. That's what it's about, going to watch your team whatever the circumstances. They would love what wev'e got at the minute.
I'm talking more about the long term vision for us and if the owners are true to their word we will be happy and be back at scxm with opportunites to right the wrong.
                      Whatever the season.
