My first match was the first game of the 75/76 season Liverpool at home, sat in Ellerslie Road. 2-0 R's with Gerry's goal of the season-how could I not be hooked? I was the only Rangers fan at school and liked that I was different. I loved all of that team in particular Dave Thomas, Gerry, Stan and David Webb. I've been in the Loft and Paddocks and now back in Ellerslie, I love it that two of my children come with me. I only hope my Dad felt as proud taking me as I now feel every time I walk into Loftas Road with my two.

My first game, Harry Brown in goal, Allen and Ingham the two backs, I can't remember the rest of the team. Possibly Ernie Shepherd, Keith Rutter and Ivor Powell? They played in white tops with a blue trim, 3rd Division South. In those days we could walk to the other end of the ground at half time, depending on what goal the R's were attacking!! They had a kid's area at front of the Loftus Road End. They also, right up to the early seventies, used to open the gates at half time so as anyone could go in!!

First match ,81 season for me 2-0 against Blackburn, got taken to the match by my Dad , whos 82 now , and not fit enough to attend matches any more, ( sure he only took me because he was scared i`d end up Palace , cos my school used used to give out free tickets for them ).
My era was late 80s really ( much better team then chelsea and fulham were in their rightfull place, happy days ),Johnny Byrne my all time favourite player, as much for the nostalger as anything else.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

Can't remember the year (late 80's I think) but my first game we beat Luton 6-1.
So without using the internet I'd guess this....
Seamon
Bardlsly McDonald Samsun ??
(Colin??) Clark Barker Wilkons Sinton
Falco Ferdinand
Maybe a few wrong (crossed over) there. Probaby a few seasons rolled into one happy memory.
