not talking throwing a player in here and there but the actual time you first went and got to know who was playing where. can people remember the stars that made them fans of the club they love? interesting to gage the ages etc of the people we chat to on a daily basis.
chris kiwomya and michael ngonge were up front when i was first a proper regular
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

First game was 83 afainst West Ham with Clive Allen up front for us and Brooking up front for them and I was nine.

Although I've had a season ticket from '87 onwards really consider my era to be the Don Howe - Gerry Francis years where we got better and better. Could also travel to many more away games as a carefree teenager, wins at Anfield and Old Trafford, saw Les come in as an awkward non-league signing to become one of the finest players in the country and, of course, finishing top club in London.

Respect to anyone who started going after 1996 and actually stuck with it.

Bankole, Perry, Ready, Morrow, Bruce, Kulscar, Scully, Jones, Rowland, Kiwomya, Dowie.

I think I must have been a born loser.

Rodney was to sign later on in the season, the rest is history as they say, being from Batman Close spent a few years messing about on the grass bank where the SA stand now is, so faintly remember brian bedford, mcquade, leary and the brady brothers
same team , think Frank Smith played a few games early ,remember players previous ,but this is my first eleven i could reel off ,used to climb into the ground and play on the pitch on Sundays

you have got to be kidding, if it was'nt for that fulham c**t who broke his leg Busby would have been a rangers legend, Bowles rated him better than Francis, don't judge him after his injury, never the same player:angry:
