My earliest memories of games @ loftus road would have included; Derek Richardson, Rachid Harkouk, Peter Eastoe, Ian Gillard but probably attended more regulary when we won Div 2 when Venables was manager.

I became a QPR fan 75/76 season, was only 10 the only kid that had QPR kit in my area my dad bought it for me from a catalogue, made by umbro very scratchy.Having in a kick about with me mates who were Stoke,West Ham, Wolves fans i was Stan Bowles .
Spose i was a glory hunter really and what a great choice i made, been a f**kin brilliant ride ever since proper club, with devasting (at the time) lows, that makes the highs we have even sweeter.
My dear old dad encouraged me to follow the Rs, when it would have been so much easier to be a liverpool, leeds, man u fan, i think it's a club that shapes your life, you grow up, not expecting everything, not arrogant, or c*cky (except when winding up the oppo), QPR fans all seem together, how many other clubs do the same as our "You Rs" when they see a stranger in their shirt?
And we were playing the best football in the country btw which i think he thought was important.
One life,.. one love,.. one club,.. ONE QPR!!!!..

        ps; and the wife

Rodney was to sign later on in the season, the rest is history as they say, being from Batman Close spent a few years messing about on the grass bank where the SA stand now is, so faintly remember brian bedford, mcquade, leary and the brady brothers
My era too, i remember Les Allen patting me on the head and saying sorry when his elbow caught me as i peered over the school end wall, had a ticket for the 67 final, but my dad said i was too young and gave it to my uncle instead, took my older bro though and he turned out a Chel*** fan.

It's something strictly special to our club i think mate, it makes us exclusive, it feels like a bond, if that makes any sense?? More so than at other clubs, i mean i know we all have our disagreements, but, all said and done, we are... Rs!!!
