  • Hughes press conference /merged/

Just listened to MH's press conference and skys Bryan Swanson is it?,.....anyway
he starts off with the handshake, and although i was only paying a little attention, it seemed to me that most of his questions weren't about us.
He asked what MH thought of the job Di matteo was doing, then about Guardiola leaving Barca, and then i think he asked whether he (PG) would be a good **** manager, then the manc derby.
Finally back to our game he asks was the handshake in mark's point of view getting "silly" in that other players might join in and boycott shaking hands.
So there it is as far as sky are concerned this thing with JT is just "silly" not players showing support for each other, i just can't belive how uninterested they are in anyone other than the so-called big 5

Sky's #### licking of the top 4 is embarrasing to be honest.

Brayn Swanson is the worst at it by a mile, he's on Twitter all the time sucking up to players and big club and asks the most pathetic questions in press conferences.

To be fair though they're football coverage is spot on. Just sack the saps who do the reporting.

the games on tv when weve been playing the big clubs, man u especially, the coverage was so one-sided you would think they were playing against themselves. my bet is the coverage on sunday will all be abut how chelsea conquered barca the fa cup final and the job rdm has done then someone will whisper something about the no handshakes will gary neville talks about how he ejaculated over his moniter when torres scored
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

There all the same public school educated hoorays who think it would be great to get involved in the working mans sport and who miss the actual point of supporting a team as they've never done it. Instead they bleat on about the biggest teams and the over rated players as thats there misguided perception as to what football is all about.

Just have a look at the school's/uni's these d*ckheads attended which empowered them believe the can write the w@nk about our clubs that they do.
              PROOF:
Swanson - George Heriot's School in Edinburgh
Roan - Wellingborough School and Cambridge University
Winter - Westminster School and Edinburgh University

Mark Hughes reveals guard of honour snub

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed that the club have snubbed an alternative option to the pre-match handshake.

For the second time this season, there will be no handshake between the two West London rivals following John Terry's alleged racial abuse of Anton Ferdinand.

Hughes said that the FA had been looking into an alternative and suggested that QPR clap their opponents onto the field instead.

However, the Welshman said that there is "no chance" of that happening.

"They were looking for solutions for the game at the weekend," said Hughes. "The Premier League were throwing things out and saying at one point an alternative would be to form a guard of honour and clap Chelsea on to the pitch.

"I was thinking *absolutely no chance of that. That's where we were getting to. We never had pre-match handshakes when I was playing. Sometimes it's an irritation.

"I've got history with handshakes – Tony Pulis, Mancini – a couple I've had issues with it."

The Premier League have since denied Hughes's claim that they had made the suggestion.

Do the bods at the Premier League sit around the table once a month thinking up stupid ideas to p!ss people off.

From the 39th game to this, they need to call it a day.

                          Hughes pre match interview

Terrible, not on Marks part, but the majority of it was re The **** and their win over Barca, Roberto do Matteo (should he keep his job), Jose Mourinho (Where do you think he will go to after Barca, Prem), then the Manchester Derby and who will win the title.
All this sandwiched between the 'handshake saga' (which they must be deaf because he kept repeating that it's not an issue, dealt with) and Our terrible red card record, which I thought Mark answered brilliantly giving spuds as an example (apparany in the second half we only did 5 fouls - three were booked and 1 sending off, said we've been hard done by but if you look at it in black and white, well.

No real mention of the actual coming up. Typical journalists.

Hey no probs 80s you and me both pi**ed off with that Swanson d**k, i half expected him to say right at the end something like,"and who are you playing at the weekend Mark?"
with MH answering ****sea, he would then prob go off on "ah talking about ****sea"
