I struggle to understand how the supporter of a team who have a statue of a pedophile outside the ground can pass comment on anyones else's stadium.

I tell you what! sort out the following:
      • Statue
      • Your Away Support
      • The Neutral Stand (that only Fulham could have)
      • Tourists

And I MIGHT consider humiliating you in an debate.

      Until then! toddle pip!

        * Statue is in the ground not outside it, although I agree along with nearly every FFC fan that it's awful
        * Neutral stand dont understand the problem if the away fans don't sell out then its gets open
        * if we do get tourists so what, it just shows that we are an attractive football club to visit, your lack of toursists just goes to show how unattractive your club is to people who want to watch a game of football

FFC managed to fill approx 98% of Craven Cottage on average this season, 5th best in the premiership, QPR managed to fill approx 94% of Lotus Rd, I dont think you can blame that on poor away support!!!

So explain your away support, still no explanation????? And I'd say 30% of your home fans are tourists! I wouldn't want any one other than a rangers fan in the home ends at loftus road!! Couldn't give a s*** if it's not attractive it is OURS!!!

I can't explain our away support, which all FFC fans will agree isnt that great and clubs have gone on about for years and it goes over our heads now so not much of a dig from you really

30% of our fans are tourists not sure how you got to that figure, you must go quite alot to Craven Cottage or is it a figure just picked out of the air...I would think the latter!!

whats your excuse for Loftus Rd for having such a poor average attendance, it cant be just the fault of away fans not wanting to go to loftus rd

lol cant be arsed to argue with a Fulham fan should be embarrassed to admit he's a fan. Decent players but their ground, owner and fans are a joke that every other clubs fans laugh at.

30% of their home attendances tourists?

No, no, no. I can't have that. It's ridiculous.

                It's way more than that.

Honest truth now. I spent the first 25 years of my life living in Wimbledon, a couple of miles up the road and I'm now 48. In all that time, I can truthfully say that I have only been aware of 4. One is a brother-in-law, another is his son, my nephew, one lad I was at school with and a bloke I once worked with. That is the Gods honest truth, I swear.

The issue concerning a clubs away following is about passion, generally a club that has a good away fan base equates to having a passionate support.
Proportionately to our fan base we have a good away following. I think we can be justifiably proud about this. One of your fellow Fulham fans came on some
time ago and said Fulham lacked a passionate fan base and I do believe a poor away fan base is the reason for this. I've said it before but a large majority of people go to Fulham because it's convenient, often many working/living in SE England see Fulham as a convenient 2nd club to go to as it's easy to get tickets, nice part of town and about as intimidating as a night at the Royal Opera. Also you don't need to have any previous knowledge of the club to fit
in, actually it's probably a reason why you do fit in.
As to our attendance at home, I accept it's been poorer than expected. Very
few games have properly sold out and s/t sales were slow. I had expected it to be busier. As to why, I can only guess ridiculously high prices. Stadium has
large amount of restricted view lending fans not to pay high prices for them
thus making sell outs less likely. Also the club needs to reconnect with large
number of fans that may have distanced themselves from attending due to the manner previous owners ran the club. Lastly over the last 16 years a lot of
clubs attendances have rocketed classic eg is Chelsea from about 18k to 40k,
when clubs were expanding both stadia and fan base, we were simply trying to
survive. I think the new owners will overtime increase our fan base by going
into local schools and more transparent pricing structure.
What is clear though is that the old stadium has been rocking and it's not just
us that say it, away fans, journos, tv everyone. Without doubt we have a very
proud and loyal fan base and unfortunately for Fulham whether the statute is
inside or outside the ground is irrelevant as it makes as much noise and shows as much passion and emotion as the home fans.
I've got to stop writing endlessly boring posts

I think 24,000 is the most we'd be able to attract without winning the league.
I'm in favour of a new stadium as long as the crowd were close to the pitch. Maybe like Athletic Bilbao's stadium?
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

Always liked the look of Boavista's ground. Crowd very close to the pitch which would make for an amazing atmosphere. But sadly, there would probably be all manner of "safety reasons" as to why it wouldn't be possible.

Having been to Brightons Amex Stadium, I can safely say that it would be brilliant for us as a club to have a ground like it but slightly larger. There is just so much space to house all the facilities such as bars, food outlets and obviously the loos. Even a massive modern superstore. The only thing I didn't like personally, was the fact that there are so many small sections of seating. Just seems weird. Think we should make the most of enjoying our old ground whilst we still can as I doubt things will ever be the same once it's gone.

As someone said, rather have 18k proper Rs fans. Rather have a proper atmosphere than financial win.

I'll try and find the link for you but there was a company offering as part of their stay in London 'A trip to a premiership game which includes a tour of the ground and the statue'
It's laughable that you are using a statue of a pedeophile as a draw to get in fans. Also offering these tickets is maybe because with all other London premiership games there are no tickets available.
You could call it good marketing but frankly I'd be embarrassed if I was a fulham fan and knew this.
