Ah memories ..............what a night, after reading Ken Bates banging on about the plastic pitch in the programme, it was sweet to get back to the Oxford and Cambridge pub on Hammersmith bridge in time to watch the high lights on TV,being able to give the Chelsea fans who drunk in there, plenty of (friendly) abuse
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Remember that game, what a great night, was in east stand top tier with a sprinkle of r"s fans and a few chelsea thugs wanting to fill us in and wason waydown stairs when 2nd goal went in and my dad went mental and i thought we were gonna get a doing but chelsea were sick and out cup and just gave loads of verbal, decent rangers support in north stand terrace wenr beserk and remember seeing the guy grab the qpr union jack that was hanging on crash barrier and wave it madly in the air. My dad has passed on now but i will never forget that night. Does anyone remember forest at home in cup when floodlights failed and game cancelled?
