A friend of mine has just told me a funny thing he had been told by an Englishman in London. Most London Taxis support QPR. He joked saying taxis do not stop for you If you wear any other football shirts other than QPR. Is this meant to make fun of us or true that most taxis support QPR

I do know quite a few Rangers fans who are cabbies.
Funny story, when we played Villa away earlier in the season I left work and had to make the last possible train to Birmingham.
Hailed a cab which was about 20 mins from Euston and low and behold the cabbie was Rangers! He got me there in 10 mins and I made the train and even had time to get a few cans for the journey!
Got a cab in Gibraltar a couple of years back and the whole thing was decked out in Rangers gear! This was during the summer and my other half was not happy.......she couldn't get away from Rangers, not even hundreds of miles away in the middle of July!First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

FOr United away had a nightmare getting into bush to catch the LSA coach because of bank holiday trains . Was in Notting Hill with only five minutes left before coach was leaving trying to wave a cab as no tubes were running yet. About 6 drove straight past us I think because we had cases of beer with us. Then one cab flashed us from other side f the road, pulled a u turn and we jumped in. Turned out to be a QPR fan just finishing his shift and he drove us to the Coach meet and refused to take any money from us, wouldn't even take my offer of a beer!! Proper nice bloke and I don't think you would get that sort of hospitality if it was say two Chelsea fans or Man Utd fans??!!

if you get a black cab between the bush and uxbridge I reckon the majority are either chelsea or rangers
wear a qpr shirt and hail a cab from Hackney down to peckham and you are more likely to get run over than get it to stopits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
