  • Power of Loftus Road

Remember the first half of the season and how we couldnt buy a win at home unless the other team got 2 players sent off and gave a penalty away?

we've now won more home games than liverpool and have got more home points than west brom

in fact our home form across the season has been mid table!
[and hence our away form has beeen relegation form]

Anyway, shows you the strength of loftus road!

    Re Home Games
After the Chelsea game i had another QPR tattoo done and i was beginning to think it was bad luck as the only home games i didn't attend were the Wigan and Liverpool games of which we won. Luckily i was there again when we beat Arsenal so it put that theory out of the window but i was starting to wonder if maybe i was bringing bad luck. Now everything's back to normal i feel better though.

A ground like ours needs to be a fortress and have a very intimidating atmosphere right on top of the players so other teams never have an easy game. NW failed to make that a reality, whereas MH has. What is that, 6 home wins (including the MK Dons replay) and we were also playing wolves off the park before Cisse's red and would've won that also. Must be about 2 points / game on average picked up since he's been here which is excellent.

of late it has defo played its part and if we do manage to stay up then it will become very important next season. most players are not used to the tight confines of the pitch and having a crowd right on top of them.

you know when clubs/players systematically thank the fans...all the "yeh, the fans really helped us along etc"...
..if we stay up, i fully expect the club to say that and for the first time in all these years i will sit back and say "you're welcome" knowing that it really has made a difference of late.

i'll be honest - have become much more vocal at the games with regards to booing, whistling etc. if noone around me does it then i dont...not because i'm not wanting to, just that it doesn't feel appropriate. but i think everyone now is really getting into it, and i know that the difference i've done is def helping.

A thank you from the club 15% reduction in season ticket prices and £50 voucher would do nicely.

I really do agree the fans have played their part, Mackie coming on against pool and the wall of noise that was created when Adel got sent off, you could see both teams players thinking
