Not seen a thread yet...thought I'd say he is looking bloody good at the moment!

Wonder how many have changed their minds about having him their starting 11

Agree looks a different player now. Very direct from the off always attacking his FB.

I said the same yesterday W12 he was mom for me didn't give the FB with the hair a minutes peace we need him in the team. The comments about him not being good enough, and we need more than someone who tries hard, are wrong we do need someone who runs his a*se off for the team, it's an important part of our game, and he has proved his worth imo against the best teams in the country

Not me, I always backed him...

got slated at the time though.

He's a good player to have in the team, never stops trying and is a bloody nuisance to the other team.

If you want someone to run themselves into the ground for the good of the team, Mackie's your man
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

        2015/2016, average at best.....

        2016/2017, same old, same old....

        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Will credit where it's due. Can be very frustrating. He's very direct and when we play 4-3-3 he is effective. But when we are 4-5-1 he doesn't create a huge amount. Still think he'll always divide fans, but he was good yesterday.

has been great of late. 100% more desire and end product than swp-deserves his place in team.

                He's been very good recently.

Opposition full backs can't stand him and he causes so many problems. Well done Jamie!!

Mackie was brilliant yesterday, he bullied thier FB so much he was taken off, only for him to carry on and bully his replacement.

Mackie is improving game by game and if people cant see he deserves his place in the team then i recommend they go to spec savers.

Him and Zamora work there socks off each and every game and yesterday both were superb !

Again think back how he has come from his injury. Great lad.

Strengths: Direct; pacey; stamina; strong; tackling ability; knows where the net is; scares full-backs.

                      Weaknesses: Successful passes ratio

A few of our players are afraid to have a run at the opposition. Mackie isn't and that's why he's been brilliant, yesterday he made several runs with the ball into the box and gave Disco Benny problems all day.

i'd like to see him swing in more crosses as well, something we don't see from him when he is out wide in good positions

good a hitting the bye line but would be good also to see him mix it up

No point when we play 4-5-1 as no one will be in the box

He worked his socks off last night. And what a challenge he took on a Spurs played, given his injury last year I feared for his leg, but he didnt shy away.
                              RESPECT.
He is not afraid of anything it seems like. Physologically very strong.
