Sorry to break up your white supremacist meeting, but why is it on here when any black player is linked to this club they instantly have an attitude problem, huge ego, chip on shoulder etc???

None of these experts commenting on here know beckford, lita, or anybody else, but come out with these outrageous statements when all they know is what they've read in the media. I've never read on here any of these statements applied to any white players coming to qpr, dont they have ego's, attitudes, or upset dressing rooms??

HighgradeR - I can't speak for what others have posted but surely you can have an opinion about one person & then another person without it being based on the colour of their skin. I can't comment on whether Lita is arrogant or what type of guy Beckford is but it is quite possibly a fact that these 2 otherwise unlinked individuals share a trait such as arrogance, along with many other people of varying colours, creeds, nationalities, religions etc etc. It's also quite equally possibly that it is not a fact but it doesn't mean it's racist. People make genuine mistakes when judging people on first impressions and hear say but I don't like to hear people being accused of racism because unless you are a racist, it's a pretty nasty thing to be called.

Spend £2-3 million on a good striker,get promotion, worth £60 million to the club.Sounds good business to me,if Flab is such a good businessman why can't he see that.

If we are lucky enough ever to get promotion the players we have are not Premiership class so would he then spend the money needed to keep you in that league? IMO the answer would be NO. So it would be a quick return to where we are now. He needs to show more ambition because time is running out on his 4yr plan.

So you would take Lita who has to earn more than any other player at the club which in turn makes our other players upset and want to leave.

Beckford will not want to join our small London club with it's 13000 fan's, A fair amount of who are so miserable they would moan like f**k if our club got brought out by 2 billionaire's and a millionaire and in under 2 seasons we have 19 out of 26 squad players that they have brought to the club.

Why can't we support the team we got and enjoy the ride for a while before moaning It could be worse we could be Luton fans.

As i am participating in this thread i take it you are calling me a white supremacist which i find deeply offensive.
It sounds like we cant have an opinion on him becouse he is black i have no opinion on Beckford as i know nothing of him exept he seems to be a great footballer as for lita it is well documented that he has caused many upsets in the teams he has played for therfore black white or anything else we can make opinions on him same as a white player in that situation.
to be honest i never thought of him (Beckford) as a colour just a good footballer

Beckford signing would increase the bums on seats at lr considerably, he is of a quality that barring serious injury he will score goals at a good rate and either help us get promoted or increase his value and would be easy to sell.

for any club that doesnt already have the striker situation sorted AND has the ability and finances to buy him its pretty much a no brainer.

QPR needs to solve thier striker problem, have just sold thier best striker so has some money, has mega rich financial backing if required and is facing a season where promotion is a possibility but the stadium has plenty of spare capacity for increased attendances.

Putting all those things together spending a a bit over the considered market value makes sense as the investment will almost certainly pay for itself one way or the other.

My concern is that our board seem to want a bargain and are prepared to play brinkmanship and risk losing out, witness Watson last year, surely we must have learnt from that fiasco.
