Beckford would be a great addition IMO.

We can't let Brum keep strengthening their strike force as It's the area we need most.

Thick is hardly a fair assesment on Flabbio, but I see what you're saying.

It's not hard to work out that this is the sort of signing that would make us feel we're parting with our hard earned cash for a good reason.

The thing is, Beckford in reality isn't all that. He's scored a few at League One level and now has ideas above his station. If you felt Lita had an attitude problem, then I think this guy will be comparable.

We've left it so late, and ******ed around with so many other better options, that now we're chasing the leftovers.

Most may well be happy with someone like Beckford, but maybe as he's a seemingly better option that we're left with since we sold our leading striker.

HH will be crocked by October, Pat will never score more than 10 a season as long as he has a hole in his ar$e, and the Italian is another untried continental. Inspired.

Benny - They are stupid as they focus on the wrong things.

They spend £2-£3M on light fittings and fancy decorative bits n pieces for the hospitality areas of W12, which are never used, but they wont spend £2-3M on a player that would get them used week in week out.

That is the proper way to do this really, payment on results. 500K up front, 500K for 25 goals in a season, 500k for his first 50 goals, 500k for promotion and a million for champoins league as you say.

Beckford is going to West Brom, end of. We may have been interested but our owners wont pay inflated prices for british players. But for some reason they will for unknown/unproven foriegn players. Make of that what you will.

I would love to see this happen, he's just what we need but honestly, I really can't see this happening. Would love to be proved wrong though.

I reckon a 1.5mil bid would sort that out.

In his last year of contract and he wont sign a new one so they've gotta let him go!

Come on rangers, sign him up!

Why would the sort it out when WBA are reported to have offered £2M?
