This season we have undoubtedly sent out a message to other clubs, about the intent we have within this club, to make it better from stadium to training ground, to making money availble to spend on players and you get the impression we will spend again in the summer on players, should we stay up.
I have visited a number of boards of other fans whose teams are lower prem or around us, and you do see them discussing our spending power and saying things like "let's hope they go down, cause they will spend big again in the summer and overtake us next year", or i have read from teams down the bottom, that they hope we don't go down with them for the same reasons.
My thought is.......would chairmen?,...managers?.. of these clubs think the same?....and would it be more "convenient" for say Norwich, Swans, WBA, etc if maybe Bolton and Wigan stayed up???
If fans think this way, why wouldn't the men who put the money in? just a thought.
