  • Our hopes...

rest on 1) bolton and/or wigan collapsing or 2) us getting more points than seems likely. I am a real pessimist but I thought we would get something at West Brom. We could beat Spuds and we should beat Stoke, but can anyone see us getting anything at Chel**** or Man City if they can still mathematically win the title? I can't. Let's hope Cisse does the business against Spuds which will keep our hopes alive if we can win.

all rests on the 2 home games 2 wins may be enough but may still need to get a point from one of the other games. and we may have got something yesterday had Hughes not been so negative in the 1st half? seems like the fat lady is testing the mic ready to sing?

City getting back in the title race is not the best news in the world. If Utd can beat them in the derby and they have nothing to play for we can beat them if we have to. If they are playing for the title - they will beat us I am sure.

This will go to the last game if we are lucky. There is no way we will be safe before City.

Well we only have ourselves to blame, we didn't win the games we had to win and too many red cards.

Actually in fact it now rests on Bolton and Wigan to keep losing! We are offically now dependent on other results.

Technically the race is out of our hands as we could win every single match and still go down.

Surely not possible as others still have to play each other. Like to see proof though if you think it's true I will then hold my hands up.

Thats better youre turning the corner , follow the light of optimism

im still confident we are going to stay up no point in thinking anything else i think it will go down to goal diff, we will all say how well we played away not conceeding to many goals when the dust has settled

If we win all our games only Bolton could still overtake us.
But not Blackburn or Wigan(unless they improve their goal difference bigtime)
The key could be Blackburn at home to Wigan.
We must hope Blackburn win that and only get one other win-maybe at home to Norwich.
Wigan have tough games against Fulham and Newcastle.
If they lose both but beat Wolves on the last day and get beat at Blackburn we will need 3 points (Stoke) to survive on goal difference.
We really need a minimum of a point against Spurs.Beat them and i think we are nearly safe.

Though it's tough, nowhere near as easy as we would like, we need to approach our remaining 4 games determined to take maximum points off all.
Tottering & Stroke both at Loftus Rd, if we don't take six points from those two games, then we deserve to listen to that farking "when the red, red, robin" shyte at the Valley next season.

As for the two away days left, Chelshyte were played off the park by Wigan last week, and if they can do it, so can we.
And Man Shitty, it would be just like us to get a result where everyone would least expect it.

I think we have clicked under Mark Hughes at Loftus Rd, and with Cisse back from his latest ban, there is still a little room for optimism.
