  • Only Thing That Will Keep Us Up

    In my opinion..

Is teams being sh!tter than us. This game was there for the taking after some really good performances & the fact Bolton now have 2 games in hand over us is a massive incentive for them. Of course they have to win them but they have the opportunity in there own hands now whereas we haven't.

We just didn't turn up today & to many of our 'better' players had a bad day.

Great strike to win the game but I'm sorry it was soooooo clear what he was going to do yet Paddy was yet again found scrambling & again was beaten from what looked an obvious shot.

Gonna be tough now, very tough, Spurs although at home where we perform better will be a massive test, Stoke another awkward team is the one we have to win without fail & hope for a draw at either the s cum or City.

Whatever happens I still have belief but as originally stated all about what others do now.

You've got a part to play as well, Bradley. Need you to score a few own-goals. Thanks.

It works both ways. Think we have to get out of the mindset of last season when it was completely in our hands. In a relegation scrap its always in part dependent on other teams. Yes Bolton have two games in hand but I wd be amazed if they won both - indeed judging by their last couple of performances you wouldn't back them to get anything very much from them.

he did save a good free kick later on but yes he probably should have saved that 40 yard shot. But we looked a bit numb all over the pitch so we must have been tired or something - cannot explain it otherwise. Anyway no magic (besides Taiwos loooong pass to Z) and no luck today.

Agree Stain but how many times do we have to hand the gauntlet to others? Your right they may not win one or both yet they might win one & draw one, or win one & lose one wither way its more than us & today was an opportunity to stay out of that predicament.

Also Wigan have a game in hand albeit a very hard one but they've not exactly had crap results lately.

I've been worried for us for a while but with games nearing an end for the season I'm very worried.

Hope the lads prove me wrong starting with Spurs next week.

Wolves are down. Blackburn are on the critical list. That probably leaves three clubs to avoid one remaining space: us, Wigan and Bolton (don't realy count Villa). We've got the toughest run in but also arguably the best players. Wd you want to have to rely on Ngog to fire you to safety? Or Di Santo? We will have Cisse back who will feed off Zamora, with Helguson now also able to come off the bench. Plus our defence is now looking pretty settled. Given all that and even taking my Rs tinted spectacles off I wouldn't swap our lot for either Bolton's or Wigan's. At worst I'd say we have a 33% chance of going down, but think in reality its slightly lower than that. Just my personal opinion tho mate.

Moses is more of a threat. But hopefully he will pick up an injury rather sooner than later.

My worry is whether Cisse will stay on the pitch. Complete nutcase

Fair comment. Think we just have to take the chance and hope that Hughes has spoken to him as he has to Diakte who if anything looked even more wild but is now a different player.

Greengrass that's fair enough & I don't like to be harsh on Paddy but it just looked so bloody obvious what Dorrans was going to do.

Stainrod, well put & your post makes sense but this is Rangers so nothing is plain sailing as we know. Would of felt massively confident if we'd won that today.

It's a roller coaster boys. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost to spuds and beat the ****.
