Replacing Buzz with Derry - what was he thinking?

A winning team, high in confidence, needing points. We should have gone with the same team and gone for the win.

Instead he plays defensive and the first half we were diabolical as a result.

Notice the difference second half after Derry went off. Sorry but basic tactical errors like that are costing us games and that may wel cost us dearly. We needed points today.

i agree we should've played the same team as we did against swansea. if buzz can close down one of the best passing teams in the league, why not against WBA? Not sure i can totally blame hughes though, he obviously just felt derry would make us a bit more secure at the back. once again you have to look at the players

did you point the finger directly at Hughes when we stuffed swansea? West brom is a tough place to go and we were unlucky not to come away with something. Time to back our team they need us.

I laugh at this, I said earlier this week how everyone was praising Hughes and noticing the turn around, now everyone blames him again!

Buzz didnt even have a good game against Swansea, he just scored a great goal!!

We played well today WBA scored a one off goal! A draw was a fair result! But hey thats football and thats why we are not doing well this season. Zamora should have scored, thats where the blame lies IMO. A striker should be scoring! sorry!!

If you check my 'Might be controversial' post I said at the time the FA had done us a favour by suspending Derry.

Hughes wouldn't have had the nous to make that decision.

He should have stuck with the team and he's entirely to blame for today. He got lucky against Swansea because his hand was forced.

I've said it a hundred times but if we play Derry we lose.

There was some bad decisions by Hughes

Buz has been better all round then Derry and at least he can take shots and corners

Would have been better to bring on Buz instead of swp which was another bad move

Taarabt might not had the best of games but seemed the only one who could create chances but Hughes brings him off

It's not the defeat that annoys me, it's the fact that the game was there for winning and Hughes didn't go for it.

That is pathetic and cost us dearly.

Forget Derry or Buzz fact is Kenny should have saved there goal must have been at least 30 yards, slow to move and weak hand when he got to it. Didn't deserve to loose we are far from down as it stands, many twist and turns to come and goal difference could be the decider.
