I believe they're corrupt. I think the big clubs have too much power.
The refs make bad decision after bad decision all in favour of the big teams.
I think they're trying to keep them happy, because if they don't there's always the possibility of some form of breakway European superleague.
On top of that the refs don't want the bad publicity so always favour the big boy. I mean, QPR get diddled out of a few games - and to the FA / ref / press who gives a sh1t. Man united on the other hand and it's massive news.
