• Has Mark Halsey refereed any of our games this season??

Just showed him at the South West London derby as the 4th official and mentioned how he has overcome cancer.

But it got me thinking I don't think he has reffed any of our games this season whilst we have had some others 3 or 4 times.

    Anyone know why?
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Where does it actually say they support certain clubs?

Surely most of them would support Man Utd and Liverpool which would mean they would struggle to find a ref for their games!

But surely the flip side is that refs should not be appointed to games where the team they support might be benefitting from the games that they are doing.

I.E Paul Mason is a Bolton fan and did everything yesterday to ensure that QPR would get nothing from the game at Old Trafford.

A link from reorts site, basically conspiratorial allegations. Bit about Mason i highlighted in red

Saw him mention he 'used' to be an R's fan on sky sports news couple of years ago on his road to recovery, surely he still is, you can't get that out of your system

Better to say 'used' than 'am' from his point of view for obvious reasons.

Yeah I don't think it's a good idea for ref's to say who they support, so they all say 'was' a fan. No doubt about it, he probably is an R's fan and I hope we get him one day as a ref lol . Hopefully chelsh*t away

He should ref a Bolton game to even things up.

Is the reason he does not ref any of our games because he is Rangers?

It would be interesting to know which teams other refs support.

I'm pretty sure he has refereed us before.

Needed, remember we spanked them 4-0 only last season when they were here with just our championship side. Adel will score another wonder goal.
