  • If Hughes had pulled the players off the pitch…

…and refused to finish the game after that ridiculous penalty and sending off, what would have been the punishment?

Home team awarded a three nil victory? Or something more serious?

I would have settled for a 3-0 defeat at the time if I'm honest.

Points deduction and fine, it is documented as the case should any team fail to end a game for any reason.
    Queens Park Rangers
    NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

          This.

We would have been an absolute laughing stock. Theres a decision a weekend that is awful, if a team pulled out of a game everytime this happened the game would fall apart.

If Hughes pulled any of our players off, let alone all of em, it would've been all over the papers.

It's a novel way to motivate them but some of their wives and girlfriends would be seriously concerned.
Also Sparkys wrist would take ages to recover

              Okay?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

The bloke with the broken oar should have jumped ship to lighten the load.

Agreed we should never walk off the pitch, just something that was going through my head.

Get a grip man and see the bigger picture, as nothing would change if it didn't have too and the reason why nothing changes in football is because people have their tummies tickled with £50,000,000 a year and get on with it. If it was the smaller teams getting the big decisions all the time, what do you think would happen.

Would birds have the vote if they did not go topless on a day out at the races, would black people in America and South Africa be second class citizens if they did not revolt, the list goes on. Nothing changes if you do not force it.

When Warnock sent on Georges Santos to specifically get sent off and reduce Sheff United to six players thus getting the game abandoned. What was their fine/points deduction?

Can you explain something, as your limp wristed approach to shocking decisions, does not tally with your signature.

"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I'm very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that".

I wont resort to such statements as "get a grip" as, unlike some, I can appreciate different people have differing views. And mine is that pulling your players off the pitch after a dodgey decision is pathetic and would make the side in question a laughing stock.
You view it differently and would condone such an act, thats fine, we dont have to agree do we.

My siganture is simply a quote that entertained me. Is that OK with you or shall I change it as I dont literally treat football as a life or death matter like the quote says? I didnt realise the wording of a signature on a messageboard had to be implemented strictly in all views expressed?

If a manager took a team off because a player was racially abused, would he be a laughing stock ?
