Not neccesarily saying wait until January, we play 7 games in August.
We will know by end of August. Still think Tarrabt will play as striker and score quite a few.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

problem is, proven goalscorers are rarity and most clubs want them if they are any good.
By the way, some one on this thread mentioned Kamara
4 million cash transfer and 25k a week, a bit too much
That, I think you have to agree with.
At risk of sounding like a stuck record...speculate to accumalate and all that.Your mum would love me...

MKPaul that is a very bold statement and speak for yourself and a few others. He has not lost any credibility IMHO. The guy travels around the country spending vast amounts of money home and away to support his club. I only go to homes games and a couple away each year. The side under Sousa was playing very boring defensive football and pete just felt that things needed to change. I do think Sousa was unlucky with injury but he still has to take a large responsibilty for boring 0-0 performances. I think this has got well out of hand and I think some of you on here just can't leave the whole Sousa thing alone. I do think we need a new striker however there is nothing wrong with being positive. I wish the new management team all the best and I am looking forward to sat and the new season.Last edited by WeAreQPR12; 03-08-2009, 05:34 PM.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

i am not saying he was ordered to do it or that it was a big conspiracy. i am saying that he took it too far. at every opportunity he tried to put sousa down and people got fed up with it.
and as we saw at the time pete was in the minority. so i don't think he can be blamed for sousa's sacking. and that post from scott was meant to be a light hearted remark.
The only reason some are so really upset about Sousa getting the sack is because they wish to attach either Gianni or Pete in to the equation and not because of the dire football we had to encounter week in week out.

I'll get it, when Swansea win or we lose a game. Thats part and parcel.
I really believe Flavio will leave everyone alone this season and with Gorman on board he is getting plenty of respect from players along with MagiltonALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

we had players saying he was the best manager they had worked with. so he must have been doing something right.
we haven't got a ready made promotion winning team. a team like that needs to be built under one manager.

It comes down to the ridiculous notion of a power struggle. O Most that commented on Sousa, shared season tickets or didn't go and endure the games we sat through.

Players said they loved playing for Ainsworth, but didn't see anyone vindicate a permanant move for him.
In regards to Sousa, Hardly going to say he talked to us about the finer points of defending for 3 hours in a locked room, are they?ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Paul I don't deny that the injurys to our BEST players did not have a huge effect, because they did. However he didn't make do with what he had. I think he ruined WR who was playing great football at cardiff. I am not a Blackstock fan, so I can't blame him for dropping him but it was the style of play that ruined any sort of entertainment.I played sunday league football today.
