Advice on bringing my 3yr old Saturday

Really want to bring my 3 yearold son to the game Saturday anyone got any advise for me? Where is best to sit? How I go about getting his ticket? Just general stuff really and your experiences on bringing your children to games.

Wanted to do a trial run at the southampton game but he opted for ice age 3 at the cinema and pizza hut!

Is he any good at playing up front ? Plenty of room on the bench for a decent striker. ;D

He will get bored, he will figit, he won't get scared by the noise if you sit lower loft at the HL end but you have to take him. It's in his blood and it's the law !

Yeah think it's best if I take him and sit lower loft.

My old man is gonna come with us now aswell so it will be 3 generations of Qpr supporters! My dad said he couldn't let me take my little boy to his first rangers game without him being there with us. But no doubt when we're there I'll hear the stories about the good old days from my dad about how he use to stand on an orange crate nicked from shepards bush Market behind that goal at the loft end etc etc.....

bring my boys to rangers. 6 and 3. and ill tell u now my 6 year old is bored to death whereas my 3 year old loves it. he sits there asking where his favourite player routledge is and my fav buzz, sings qpr over n over clappin his hands. and even shouts goooooooooooooooooal when the other team score LOL. but he loves it whereas my 6 year old hates it. so all i can say is give it a go, dont worry about people sayin hes too young cos it depends on the child mate. ps bring a bag of sweets ;) btw normally sit in sa or els

Thanks NW9 I'm gonna give it a go and I'm sure he'll have fun, I've told Him the police man will be on the look out for naughty boys who don't sit still in there seats and he can have some sweets and he seems well excited!

hahah yea im sure he'll enjoy it. there'll be times when hes looking up at the birds and also the excitement when the ball gets whacked in the air over one of the stands, they all love that. i suppose some kids take to it and some dont, but u wont know until u try, good luck m8

i am bringing my 4 1/2 year old to his first game too this weekend, got tickets for the lower loft as well

I personally feel 3 years and even 4 and five is too young. I would wait to at least they are 7/8 years as they may be more patient and watch the game. I had a kid sat next to me against Southampton. Was asking his dad when they could go home etc. Looked about 3/4. Bless him he just didn't look intrested at all.

Ju if Loft upper on the far right next to the SA. Easy to get to the toilets and there are quite a few little ones who stand at the front in the corner.

Please, please don't take your kid. They are too young anyway. But why any parent would want to expose their young child to that kind of abusive and foul language I have no idea. My daughter will be 5 in Oct. My first game was when I was 6 but there's no way I'd take her.
I was thinking about taking her last season and then the first game I went to 3 *****s behind me were shouting out the c word every other word!

I think you need to take them and give it a punt. If anyone is abusive nearby..especially in the family stand - COMPLAIN. Its the "family stand" for a reason.

Like others have said, suppose you dont know how they'll be till you give it a try.

I was going from an ickle toddler 25 years ago and i loved it..my brother hated it.

Took my son when he was three against Colchester when Ray Jones got the winner. It took a lot of perseverance to keep bringing him as it meant not sitting with my mates and missing out on the pub before and after the game.

However he is six now and is QPR mad and keeps counting the days until the Blackpool game.

Seeing his face when Dexter (his favourite player) got the winner against Preston last season was something I will never forget. He was standing on his seat going mad.
