Has to be overturned that was an atrocious decision and not one angle backs the refs decision.

Yeah I think we actually may get this one overturned! It's so blatantly offside and not a foul they can't really no rescind it!

It will get overturned. A) The offside occurred first. B) It was a dive. Derry hardly touched the player and the ref was unsighted.

By the letter of the law if the ref gives the pen and it denies a clear goalscoring opportunity (derry was last man so it "was") then its an automatic red card.

By overturning it the FA would effectively be admitting it should never have been a pen and as much I would like them to, I just can't see it happening!!

If that doesn't get overturned it's got to be blatant corruption,if the lino had flagged correctly the "foul" wouldn't have happened, but of course even Stevie Wonder can see that's a dive as well

                      Won't get overturned.

Doesn't matter about it being offside, the appeal focuses only on the "foul" and as there was contact, I think we'll be on a hiding to nothing. Ridiculous, but I think we're stuck with it.

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, oh, that does not apply to the Fa does it.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Utd fans in the bar looked at me and turned away in embarrassment ...but everyone was embarrassed with them !!!! After the game they tried to make up by saying that Derry will successfully appeal that.

But it wasn't a penalty there is no letter of the law to apply

Letter of the law was the ball should have not been even in play. If we apply the true letter of the law for the penalty then Young should have been booked for diving.
