  • Lawro's Prediction for Manchester United v QPR

Manchester United v QPR (Sunday, 13:30 BST)

QPR enjoyed an excellent win against Arsenal last week but I just do not fancy them defensively at Old Trafford - and I don't think they will see enough of the ball to pose a threat at the other end.

There was a certain inevitability to Manchester United's win over Blackburn on Monday, although they had to wait to make the breakthrough. People might see scoring that late as lucky, but it's nothing to do with luck.

We had the same thing at Liverpool in the 1980s, when we would wear teams out. If you keep attacking teams, they eventually get tired and when that happens they lose concentration. Then, bang, you're in.

United always have the belief that they will create chances and score goals, even in the last 10 minutes - although I cannot see QPR still being in the game by then on Sunday.

    Prediction: Manchester United 3-0 QPR

i do worry with the size of the OT pitch...it's nothing compared to our one. We beat pool and arsenal on our small, tight, pitch. They do have pace all over the park.

According to some stats I read, OT is only 10 ft longer and 10 ft wider than LR.
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

Well, Wolves aren't 9th, so there must be hope.

which therefore gives it 100 sq ft more of pitch....

We have the joker up our sleeves - MH. He knows the club, what makes them tick, their strengths and weaknesses. One thing's for sure, he'll leave no stone unturned in preparation and doing his homework on them, to give our boys every possible opportunity. If everyone performs to their best you just never know.

Derry said all the players read the papers before the Arsenal game, seeing everyone not giving us a prayer. They used that as motivation to prove them wrong. Doubtless they'll do the same thing this week. Blackburn have already proved it can be done.

Tarbs, Diakite, Taiwo, Mackie and Onouha will like this?
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Take no notice of Lawrenson, he's guessing we'll lose, it's only probable, not certain.
My guess is, we have the team to upset anyone's apple cart, even ManUre's.

It's at times like this, I wish I was a bird, then I could say.............

It's not the size of it that matters, W12.......It's how you use it, big boy.

Im no genius but, I'm pretty sure 10 x 10 is 100, therefore making NW10 correct?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Not too hard to gameplan them, stop Rooney and guard the flanks. Send over lots of crosses for De Gea to deal with.
