Used to love these when i was young, and a pipe or a bong, or a big reefa, are alot stronger than these IMO

I worked in a bar that sold shisha's when I was a student. This is the deal:

*Most shisha "tobacco" is normally half molasses and half tobacco. Some stuff is tobacco free - but it doesn't burn as well and you don't get much of a "kick".

*The typical "bowl" will last around 45 min when shared amongst a few people - and if you were to "roll it up" for example, you'd end up with a smallish cigar.

*The smoke is "filtered" through water. This cools it and removes some of the tar, nicotine, and other impurities. Dare I say it's more effective than a cigarette filter.

Provided you use them in moderation, I'd say the worst thing is the potential passing of bacteria and viruses....... I mean - you wouldn't want to share your pipe with a serial nosher. However, there are individual "tips" to alleviate this problem.

You get quite a strong head-rush for the first few puffs/minutes. Then you tend to mellow out and kick back - but not in a psychedelic way.

I always enjoyed the Blueberry - with a pint of Doom Bar on the side.
