  • Crucial remaining fixtures

It looks like all bar Wolves the relegation threatened teams have picked up their form and started to look better. It also seems Villa could get sucked into this too. They are only 5 points in front of us.

I think that given our recent home results that we will beat Swansea and Stoke at home and maybe get a point against spurs. That's 7 points at home. Away however, United i think are gonna really go for us on sunday as they can capitalise on Citeh's loss of form. And City on the last day of the season all depends on if the title is wrapped up.

So that Leave's WBA and Chelsea. Chelsea will be difficult, but not impossible and we could maybe get a draw and WBA is definately winnable. This gives us 11 points as we finish on 39.

Bottom line we have to carry on the momentum from Arsenal and Liverpool into our remaining games and believe we CAN survive. And pray that the other teams around us give up points to each other and get beat where possible.

39 points to stay up? I should think so.

39 is possible but getting max points against stoke, swansea and wba are a must.. fail to do that and we are down.

Wigan have Chelsea (a) Man Utd (h) and Arsenal (a) next 3 games. Hopefully they will return with zero points and a bit of a tonking! If we win 1 of the next 3 it means they have to win 2 out of the final 4 to overtake us due to goal difference ( Assuming they do not hammer anyone! ).

It is Blackburn/Bolton i worry about. Villa are on the brink of trouble.

I know. If only we had held on to that 2-0 lead at their place we would only be 2 points behind them now...

after our incosistency (ie our performance against sunderland) are you sure we can still predict results?

We're still favourites to go down; gonna take a miracle IMO...

I believe our season is going to be decided on the results against Swansea, Stoke and West Brom. If we can get maximum points from those three games then I think we'll stay up. Swansea, who are getting loads of respect for their style of play, dont have that much of a changed team since we thrashed them at Lofus Road last season, so why cant we do them over once again. I think West Brom away will be the biggest test for us

It depends on other results indeed. I still think that even with 37 points we can stay up.

i think we can write off beating united at old trafford, and probably city too.
chelsea have looked a lot better under di matteo and at stamford bridge i dont think we have a chance. a draw out of any of those would be fantastic.
as would a draw against spurs. its very unlikely imo.
so that leaves west brom, stoke and swansea.
as has been said above our home for seems to have picked up so i would fancy us to get something out of the stoke and swansea games. not too sure about wba.

Problem is, the others keep winning too as before the Liverpool game people were saying we only need 10 points (which would mean only another 4 now, easy you say) but look at the table now, not much difference eh. Winning games, whoever they may be against is vital now, we need to pick up as many points as possible, as goal diff won't be enough without the points.

What will help us is the fact that Blackburn who a week or so ago looked to be climbing out of trouble are now right back in it

If we can't beat Stoke and Swansea at home then we dot really deserve to stay up. That ain't a dig at the lads, just think these are bread n butter games and we should win comfortably at home

I agree I think we need to target 4 games H Swansea A WBA H Spurs & Home to Stoke & anything else will be a bonus? 9 pts from these 4 will keep us up we've come out of the last 3 probably thinking we would be lucky to get a point and got 6 pts ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

                            It's a complete lottery now
Look at our last three games, any result was possible and believable before we played them
It's tricky trying to work out the next game, never mind 7 when you throw red
cards, penalties, refs, linesmen, sulks, near misses, disallowed goals, errors, flashes of genius, mind games, tactics or lack of, howlers, woodwork, dives cheaters and all things QPR into the mix.
