It will be very interesting to see how this team reacts now.

In the past, to be fair we have bottled it.

Beat Leicester, go 3rd and that gives a different kind of pressure, knowing that potentially beating Palace you could be top. Its okay proving everyone wrong, but in many respects the pressure is in reverse when you are on top. Next 2 games will give an indication of how the players react to this kind of pressure. We've not been in this position for years.

We were never as bad as we thought we were at the beginning of the season and we aren't as good as we think we are now. That said top six is do-able.

r's fans - we are living in exceptional times

as someone who has had a season ticket since 1966, I have been fortunate enough to see some fantastic rangers teams.

In the main, we have punched well above our weight for the size of our club - not so the last 15 years. I have constantly bemoaned the lack of entertainment and ambition in style of play throughout that period.

Thinking over 40 years, the best team was the mid 70's, clearly. It was an entertaning team and in Stan Bowles had a genius as its fulcrum.

I know that the current team is not in the top league, but we have so much skill and talent individually and are playing with such fluidity and confidence, that I conclude that we have rarely, if ever, had several back to back performances of such quality and with so much entertainment value. I have no doubt that we will walk away with this division if we can keep up with playing at anywhere near this level - this comes from me, a normally half-empty-glass person.

Enjoy this while it lasts as such times are rare for most clubs.
