  • So 4 teams left

Think Wolves are gone,Wigan(who according to Pete 2 weeks ago were gone too) have won 2 on the trot and have given themselves a chance,Bolton have also,as I feared they would have hit form and Blackburn who looked out of sight a few weeks ago have been dragged back in.It would take a brave man to pick the 3 going down( apart from Wolves),we are still favorites to go down with our horrible run in,BUT if we can keep our discipline and keep 11 on the field and show the type of bottle we showed against Liverpool and Arsenal we have a chance.Im not an optimistic person( no sh it)but maybe just maybe we can pull this off, survival would be an amazing achievement considering everything.36 points will be needed to survive so 2 wins and 2 draws.

Man City are imploding; if Man Utd win title before last game of the season that trip may not be as daunting as it once looked and there would be points to be had

And villa are being drawn in, with bent injured, petrov out of action, i cant see them picking up many points

You could be right but would hate to need a win there to stay up,a big big ask

They probably only need one win from 7 to stay up,can't see them being dragged into this mini league.

Villa will go down. Missing all their key players and have a very poor, negative manager who is unpopular with the fans. Tough run-in as well. Remember this post.

If they can play like that v Arsenal, and for the full 90 mins, they can do it against anyone
the defence was solid, the midfield worked hard, not only off the ball, but passed well, and got forward too, and Zamora awesome, simply awesome.
If that team turns up for the rest of our games we have every chance of staying up, if we slip back into our comedy defending ways, and let our passing drop back to earlier in the season then we won't make it.

Everyone talks about our run in and hard though it is, i think wigans isas bad if not worse!
they still play..arsenal, chelsea, man utd, newcastle and fulham. blackburn and wolves on the last day. so apart from wolves they may struggle in all those games.

That would be fine if only 2 teams were Relagated

I think we can get anOther 10 points! Think we got another shock win in us against man u, sPurs, chelsea or city and think we will win 2 out of the 3 against stoke wb or Swansea.

My concern isn't Wigan I think they will droP off but I bolton and Blackburn can quite easily pick 10 or 12 points up! Goal difference is going to be Pivitatol!

Man Utd next sunday can feel a win coming on, as i predicted this week before the Arsenal game. Last time we won at Old Trafford was new years day, next sun is easter sunday, we do well up there on public holidays.

For me the nightmare run in started from the Liverpool game and the majority of people would have said nil points from both those games so in my book we are six points ahead of where many expected.

Many have commented that we would need to beat one of the big boys in the run in if we were to survive and so far we have beaten two of them. I also think we have one more in us; gut feeling is it will be Chelsea.

All the radio stations were saying after yesterdays game we would be flat seeing everyone else had won but on the flip side how are the other teams feeling, Bolton winning their six pointer and Wigan winning just to walk in and see we have turned over Arsenal a game 99.9% of people would have had us down as loosing. They would have had yesterday as a day to pull away from us not for us to keep pace with them.

We have punchers chance of staying up as long as we apply ourselves as we did yesterday
