  • Should Barton be left out at Man U.

if its true that he is on 9 bookings.surely would be better to have him available for swansea and west brom than to risk it on the last game before the cut off.

Absolutely not, I think he will now thrive against the bigger sides (Liverpool not included) he has something to prove and if he is back to his best we will need him at OT, he put in a great shift against Arsenal and was well worthy of the captains role.
Don't worry about Swansea etc I believe whoever can play and is picked will be up for it

If you watched the recent Man U - Fulham game, you'll know that United aren't playing very well at the moment and we're left hanging on against Fulham. We must play our best team and have a go.

Cant afford too, it may come down to goal differance and not playing our best team against Man U means we could lose by an extra 3 or 4 that could worth a point.
One for all.... and all for one

We could do it you know. Utd aren't at their best, even at home! Our players have confidence after that win yesterday. Tarbs, Mackie and our two full backs will like the big pitch there. Zamora will use his experience and hold up the ball well. Also, Barton should be up for it. When Barton's playing well, the whole team plays well.

              You're all mad

Finally JB has shown us what be can do
To lose him for 2 games in the run in would be suicide and I hope and pray Sparky takes him out of the firing line.
We'll lose at OT and I'd be happy to see players rested there and a rear guard action mounted to keep the score down.
Far rather we focused on the Swansea game and Spuds after.

4 points over next 3 games be lovely jubbly
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

We don't have the luxury of giving up a game before it's even been played ffs. Barton will get another booking sooner rather than later and whem it happens we'll deal with it.

We need to go to OT where we're not expected to get anything and play without pressure and see what happens. We've nothing to lose and full of confidence.

One question to those giving up already.... Do you think Blackburn fans wish their team did the same before their visit? They got 3 points when having a shocking period which proves nothing in football is certain.

Yes but the cut off is after the Man Utd game, if he gets a booking after that it doesn't matter! But if he gets booked in the Man Utd game he will miss one, maybe two??? games.

I didn't realise the record is wiped after the next game, seems stupid if so. Either way he must play and he can be careful.

Joey Barton had an immense game yesterday, as did all our lads, and injuries permitting, they should all line up against ManUre next Sunday.

Never change a winning team, if injuries/suspensions occur, as is always the danger, we will just have to deal with them.
