Who would have thought it eh? I remember the moans and groans when he came in from Palace - 'past it' etc. Although he has been excellent for us at left back we all know he does have some weakness in that position (pace). Amazing that it's only now he's playing in his natural position and he really has been surpassing expectations. He's also a real leader in that position - many times yesterday I noticed Clint passionately barking our instructions and organising the back four.

Really does have a strong shout for player of the season!

got to be player of the season this year surely..esp after the crap we've seen

tried to loan him out and he came back a leader...

Good old skool CB, no non-sense just good at his job...could be a great shout for captain ?!

Agree with all thats been said. By far our most consistant performer this year, who the hell would have thought it eh?!!

Love how he gives the "big names" a nice whack at the start to say hello and they dont want to know after that, Walcott being the receipiant yesterday, as was Sturridge vs Chelski

Back 4 of Nedum Anton Hill Taiwo looks solid.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Hill was immense at the back.

A proper defender, no nonsense. Just how i like to see it.

Dangerous game to play though when it concedes a FK on the edge of your area. I'd say that was more mis-timed, but to be fair he never put a foot wrong after that.
