undoubtly our best right back, although I rated the Bard highly too, God Bless Dave, still remember the shock and sadness I felt on hearing the sad news of his death
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

What a fantastic article. I only really knew of Dave Clement by name to be honest and this article was fascinating but also sad. Makes you proud to be a QPR fan.

            i

i remember dave very well i loved him in the 67-68 season and think they were his best games for us his goals were nearly all hard shots into the top corners of the net,i think in addition to his five league goals he also got a cup goal as well, giving him 6 goals for the season,he was a terrific right back and
like everyone i was devastated by his suicide i cant imagine why he did what he did,but ..........................

god bless you dave clement, may you rest in peace

Loved that team great players Dave Clement an integral part of it, remember when i was a kid a newspaper had a big double spread of the England team, i think they were in America, playing, not sure, anyway Dave was in that team and great big pic of him in his England shirt, remember thinking so many QPR players in the England squad was the norm.
RIP THE ultimate QPR no 2.
