Anyone see the PB interview on ssn where he said he'd like relegation scrapped, ground sharing in football should happen, but he can understand why it doesn't,
and then he had a slip of the tongue and said when we are relegated.
Poor chap then got grilled by Brian Swanson over these remarks, and he said if he was offered relegation was scrapped right now he would take it. Obviously we're 3rd bottom of course we would, sky trying to sensationalise slip of the tougue comments.

Like everyone else I like Phil, and to be honest everyone now thinks that we are going down with are run in.

If we go down I do believe that our board will do everything they can to come straight back up.

Yeah agree myu he's top man.The one thing i do like about the article in the link is, Mr Mittal being named, as our joint owner, gives me confidence to see he's still very much involved,and getting credit for it.

To be fair, he made a lot of remarks about American sports, the MLS etc where there is no such thing as relegation and how the LA teams shared their grounds, one of his quotes was, they play in a league where half their games are pointless yet they still bring in people. But he did say that relegation and promotion were the bedrock of the game. Just Sky trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill, the bit where he said we were down made me laugh more than anything else really, just a slip of the tounge

No too true he did say if he was asked right now would he vote in favour, it was his slip of tongue of "when we get relegated" that was his biggest embarrassment
