Isn't it funny that we have had no apologies or i will make it upto from this guy ?? after the wolves game he could'nt come out quick enough to get us to back him with excuses like i have had broken legs etc etc sorry for the reaction, now,he does the EXACT same thing to someone else and drops us right in it and SILENCE !!!

I hope he never plays for us again, and whatever happens the pairing of HH and DJ was actually looking sharp against wigan (best i'd seen DJ play)should now be our forward line,(injury free that is),because let's face it,i think the likes of BZ and DC will be gone, and these guys actually care !!!!

I would like to think that his silence is an indication, that he himself, realises what an utter prawn he was making that very rash challenge, and right in front of the ref too.

Besides, what could he say, that wouldn't wind-up a sorely tormented, increasingly frustrated, fanbase?

I am growing to hate the very name, Twitter.

Cantona cost united the title in 95 2 successive sending off and a 9 month ban

What I personally hope is that if we go down realises it was down to him & plays his heart out stays and takes us up.

Long shot but he has a responsibility

          That´s what he owes us!

But, on the other hand; imagine how many red cards he will collect against CC. teams if we struggle to make the play-off?

ps; what an incredibly good player he is IF HE CAN STAY ON THE PITCH FOR 90 MINUTES.

Even tho it was a stupid move by him one positive is that it shows the passion he has to win tries his hardest that he cocks it up by trying to win the ball back. All of this speculation that he wanted to get sent off is rubbish. Just look how he reacts to every goal we score even when he gets subbed he walks off shouting come on lads.

I find it hilarious that anyone could doubt Cisse dedication..as for our relegation being all his fault...NO WAY.
He's only here top try and help us get out of a hole we'd dug long before he arrived...His goals have helped and yes, his sending offs were stupid; but to blame our relegation on him really is strecthing it a bit. you can blame our loss when he was red carded on him...sorry losses, but to blame him because we have no other player axcept HH; who can find the net is a very poor way of finding a scapegoat....IMHO...its a team game isnt it?!

Can't see how an apology helps or changes anything

Yes Cisse was wrong to make the challenge, but too often this season we have been complaining about lack of passion, heart and commitment from the new players

I applaud the fact that Cisse and Diakite are at least playing with that passion

that they do... begs the question, what on earth has been written into their contracts??

He doesn't have a record off getting sent off too much does he? But if we are relegated he will be the biggest reason as with him for 7 full games plus the 2 he played half games for sure we'd have picked up more points and prob safe!

                      Let's see

incorrect to blame us being relegated (if it happens) on cisse, we were in the 5hite long before he arrived, as most of us are painfully aware by now our season's demise began in the summer when tango and cash were still around.

however it's results that matter not intentions, and i think we'd all agree we'd have more chance of getting results with cisse in our starting XI rather than serving out his second 3 match ban with us...

The lack of Cisse's potential goals is only one of many reasons too boring to list

There has been a leadership, unity and spirit problem with the team all season
Under the pressure of relegation, communication breaks down, every mistake is punished and players confidence plummets

The club, team and fans are crying out for stability - maybe with a settled preseason and a settled team (whoever is left) that communication and sprit from last season wil return

Both Cisse and Zamora are experienced in the top flight, and given the service they can be regular goal scorers, and this is the issue. They need the service or they just can't perform, which leads to frustration with getting very few chances, and eventually desperation and causes challenges like the one Cisse did.

I actually feel sorry for them. Cisse is passionate, as is Zammo, and they are goalscorers, but we don't have a good enough playmaker in our side to give them the ammo to score. Our defence is too deep, midfield has too much space to cover between the back line and attackers to create the passing triangles, and it all falls apart with poor performances from Barton and SWP.
