Is he anywhere near being fit enough? only problem we'd have then H.H. & Zamora same type of player think we'll be watching a lot of the long ball game?

Have to agree, HH & BZ are too similar, and the temptation to simply hoof the ball up to 'em, will just result in us making the same old mistake, giving the opposition too much possession.

On Saturday, we must do our level best to starve ArseAnal of possession. We must play keep-ball like never before, we must pass and move quickly, make sure we keep it simple, short passes that will find their man.
If Joey plays on Saturday, Mark Hughes must remind him he's not Glenn bleedin' Hoddle, and 40 yard balls up to the front men are not his forte.

We will create chances, for God's sake lads, don't look any gift Horses in the mouth.

If we can do most of the above, we should beat ArseAnal and pick up three very valuable points.
            And what do points make?........Survival.

I honestly can't remember the last time we played that way. As you say, "like never before". :sorry:

                True.
My best memories of good Rangers teams hogging possession, are nearly all 1970's ones.

A fit DJ would be ideal.

I can see him buzzing around the ArseAnal defence feeding off the scraps provided by Bobby Zamorra/Heidar Helgusson.
Provided DJ is fully fit, and not just nearly fit.

He was carrying an injury, and though I wasn't there, I am reliably informed that each and every player we had out at MK Donkeys, were abysmal.

DJ had a good game against Wigan - would suggest he only gets the first half so soon after his hamstring, with Mackie replacing him for the 2nd half

Think it's too soon for HH sadly

more worried about the defence than up front tbh but i suppose we are never going to keep a clean sheet again this season so we have to score more than them....
