Wouldn't matter if we had Drogba and Rooney up front, if they don't get the ball delivered up to them they ain't gonna score, and this is our major problem.
Our strikers have been starved of chances due to the lack of a decent playmaker. Barton and SWP were supposed to fill this role and have failed miserably. So unless they get better service, and more deliveries into the box it doesn't matter whether its Helguson or Hulse, we ain't gonna score many from so few chances.

think we have to add Taarabt to that list too...how many assists this year from him? lets not even talk about goals.
It was Kennys clean sheets and Adels goals and assists that won us the title last season and we are missing both of them attributes this season.

On Saturday, we must do our level best to starve ArseAnal of possession. We must play keep-ball like never before, we must pass and move quickly, make sure we keep it simple, short passes that will find their man.
If Joey plays on Saturday, Mark Hughes must remind him he's not Glenn bleedin' Hoddle, and 40 yard balls up to the front men are not his forte.

We will create chances, for God's sake lads, don't look any gift Horses in the mouth.

If we can do most of the above, we should beat ArseAnal and pick up three very valuable points.
        And what do points make?........Survival.
Easy to say, you know it won't happen though, unfortuately.

IMO we need to forget tryna play pretty football and play gritty, get in amongst them and battle. If we try match them for football we will get aboslutley wholloped.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

              Maddening though, 'aint it, casual?
We have the players to get the result we so desperately need against ArseAnal, but the likelihood is that they will let us the fans, the board, the club, down massively. AGAIN.

Have we made 11 signings since Saturday?
